[ Of all the places to have a mix-up, and in a cold region too— he's pretty annoyed when he ends up finding another housewarden already occupying his room's bed, and of all the housewardens, it's Leona Kingscholar??

Of course, Crowley is no help, having just disappeared for a ski trip and the resort that the students have all been packed into having mixed up the rooms for the housewardens which has resulted in this. They were supposed to have their own rooms, not shared ones!

And now there's a blizzard outside which is making it impossible for them to even go out to their own dorm-mates. He can't even get Rook in here to help chase off Leona, though Ruggie can't get in here either...

Honestly, he's so tired, this is going to look horrible on him if he can't sleep! ]

The bed is big enough for you to stay on your own side, Kingscholar! Move yourself at once!

[ After their...strange field trip encounter. Being back at the school is refreshing. He can nap in peace and only run into Vil at housewarden meetings. Neither of them speak of the instance that came betwixt the both of them and perhaps that was for the better?

Whatever, today Leona has chosen his napping spot as the garden, near plants and herbs that people WOULD commonly come here to gather.

His ear will flick at any footsteps, he knows Ruggie's by now...and a few select others. ]

[ It is nearing close to when he tells his dorm members to start wrapping up for the night. He himself called an early evening for his beauty rest, but also...

He's not sure why he's still considering heading to the Mirror Hall and sneaking into Savanaclaw. Of course, he wouldn't be seen, but he would be smelled, considering the number of beastmen there. And that would raise more questions... of course, if he used an obfuscation charm, that scent would be concealed until he got to Leona's chambers and why is he seriously considering this this is not worth the trouble they'll both get into???

He has dressed down into a simpler outfit for his evening routine, a light lace up shirt and casual pajamas that he can pair with an indoor sweater, and his hair up. He can still be presentable even before sleeping, and he did finish up his skincare regimen...

Agh, no, he shouldn't. But he does decide to walk to his balcony, so he can at least get some air. Yes... clear his head some, and not harbor any wild thoughts.

Never mind that he's glancing down at where their broomsticks are stored, considering summoning his up here... ]

[ No, he shouldn't, this is ridiculous, and he has no reason! No reason at all!! ]

[ There's a bit of a tiny commotion today. Seems like there's a dorm leader visit— and though he hasn't come alone, the other two are lingering behind as they talk.

Vil, on the other hand, has already sent word he is requesting a meeting with Leona, though he does have an official excuse with needing him to actually show up for dance and modelling practice. Which he's handling personally and professionally. But also—

He's watching the crowds of murmuring underclassmen, some who seem to recognize him and some who both do and are pretending they don't. And some who look nervous. Ugh. He knew it! ]

If he sleeps through this again, he'll have another thing coming!

[ He assumes that, possibly, being a minute late could get him punished. Not that he cares or knows how that threat would come to fruition. But Leona shows up, exactly one minute late to that practice that Vil so kindly asked him to come to.

1) It is entirely incredible that he even showed up.
2) He actually dressed the part, too.

He stands in Pomefiore's ballroom, tail swishing back and forth. Ears lifted in such a manner that he KNOWS he is asking for it. ]

[ It's been a few months since they began their "arrangement", and so far it has been quite... decent. They've been as they were, yes, but they've also been seeing each other outside of being housewardens. Even if a lot of their meetings have been framed as such.

(The physical intimacy has been quite intense, too.)

While people have definitely picked up that whatever is happening between them is more than just acquaintanceship, no one's been quite able to detect what is going on. There seem to be sightings of them sitting just close enough to suggest, fingers touched, hands held, and yet...

It's been fine. Vil hasn't denied it to Rook, who already knew.

But lately, whether it's some turn of the season causing it or some other frustration, they'd ended up bickering more than usual. Vil getting angry at Leona's lackadaisical attitude for things he finds important- Leona getting frustrated with Vil. All of it culminating in what ended up with them like this.

It was a pretty bad fight, one neither of them likely even remember how it began. Rather, it resulted in feeling offended at all his hard work being spit on, and Leona feeling as though he just isn't good enough and lashing out at Vil being judgmental.

(All either of them really wanted was to feel like they actually mattered and weren't being taken for granted.)

Vil had tried, at least, as much as he could have without growing too vulnerable- he was indeed, caring for Leona in ways he usually did not give others. He missed him when they were apart, and even if he was harsh, there was usually concern behind his actions.

But they probably went too far and hurt each other this time... so it's been some days since they've seen each other. He's hardly been able to focus, even if he seems like he's in control as usual. Rook's noticed, but he doesn't want to talk about it.

Does this mean they're breaking up? Leona hasn't even tried to contact him, and he found himself lingering outside Savanaclaw's mirror, then hesitating.

He's also casually dropped by on Spelldrive practice, with the excuse of checking on Epel (he usually does not)... but that jerk. Why is he even doing this?

Ugh. He feels foolish. And he ends up on the garden near Main Street, since most students have returned to their dorms by now. The sunset is nice from here, and he has homework to read, so he'll... just do it here.

The fact that Leona usually naps here has nothing to do with it. Hmph. ]

[ It's one of the rare times that he's agreed to a shoot for an ad during his school days. Fortunately it coincides with their spring holiday, so they have about two weeks off before they have to worry about their mid-year exams.

The shoot itself is taking place in a town nearby, since the decor and setting was fitting for the pictures they wanted to take. Vil also wasn't going back home for the holiday since his father wouldn't be there, and he didn't want to be alone.

At least this way, since he knows Leona isn't going anywhere, the two of them can go on dates without being bothered.

Only... it looks like some tourists who came to visit the idyllic town have discovered that he's doing some shoots here, and he's pretty sure he's been followed. The people in question following happen to be much larger than him, but it's nothing he can't handle. He's still surrounded by security, after all.

It isn't until he has to step away for a bit to take a call, that the trio that he's sure has been following approach, saying they've been waiting all day to meet him and the least he can do is give them a look or a wave! Vil is polite, telling them he's not doing a meet and greet, but he's grateful they support him, and tries to leave, when they get incensed that he won't stay and talk further.

He can't risk being rude and ruining his PR, but these guys are making it incredibly difficult, and he can't see his security detail around... ugh! ]

[ Every time Vil has to pay a visit to the Savanaclaw dorms, the students there end up being a little more courteous than they would be. He is the housewarden of Pomefiore after all, and no disrespect should be shown to him.

But he isn't usually without Rook Hunt by his side— and definitely not walking side by side with Leona, who is often tailed by Ruggie.

Who is also not here, but lately the dorm members have started to recognize Leona's scent on Vil enough to not risk angering him and at the same time, giving him some more care than they would without.

Vil is holding an envelope over his books, and it looks like the housewardens are going to have a meeting or study together. They're heading up to Leona's chambers though. And once they are in there, Vil shuts the door, going to set his books aside. ]

... they're friendlier now than they used to be. Do you suppose they've figured it out yet?

[ That they're together. The Savanaclaw boys tend to be a little slow at times. ]

[ After they've arrived at Sunrise City in Sunset Savanna, settling in doesn't take too long. Though they all have to stay in the famous Sunset Villa Hotel, which is... so much nicer than he remembers last. Unfortunately he has to share the place with Kalim, Jack and Lilia, so he doubts he'll get the privacy he wants with Leona, but- he's patient.

That's why today, a day before the Sunset Warrior tournament, once they've gotten some time after exploring around and getting their beast attire, Vil changes into something more inconspicuous and heads to Leona's hotel room, since he'll be staying there instead. He's also made sure to not look too much like Vil Schoenheit, so he's got his hair up in a messy bun once he steps out and a light hoodie top with shades that he transformed from the nice cardigan outfit he left his room with.

Once he's entered the room though, he pulls off his evening shades, since he had the extra card key, and snaps his fingers to return to the outfit he was wearing before going over to find Leona. ]

It's a good thing Lilia has gone to the markets with Kalim... I came back early. Mr. Kifaj was a lovely tour guide.

[ Before they could be caught, all of them ran off together, piling into Leona's car and racing off in a wonderful savanna drift that had the rain splashing on their faces- and the wind in their hair as their laughter echoed across the fields. And what a delight of a time it's been. He knows Mr. Kifaji will be quite displeased with Leona but he did his duty, didn't he.

And together with Lilia and Kalim, they all head to the Elephant Legacy, where they have a grand time at the springs- it does wonders for his swollen ankle, though once the celebration and mischief is done, he does have himself checked out to ensure he didn't do any damage to himself.

Fortunately, it's just a light sprain for the effort that hyena warrior hit him with, and he's been advised to take it easy for a few days. And they did have arrangements to have an extra day off after the tournament so they won't miss classes.

Now, they're back at the hotel, the day's excitement all wearing down and Leona makes the excuse for Vil that he'll keep him from running around too much and steals him away to his room. Kalim suspects nothing and if Lilia knows anything, he's saying nothing.

So Vil is just laying in bed, resting his ankle which is now bandaged and in his soft pajamas as he watches the news coverage of the event. Everyone is enjoying the rainfall and celebration, and he's shown on TV a few times. He looks so spectacular that he's almost sad to leave the Sunset Warriors outfit behind. ]

They certainly made me shine. My Magicam notifications haven't stopped since.

[ Did Leona make sure that the news camera folks wouldn't make him look unflattering? Surely not, right? And there's no word about his injury either.. ]

[ Well, it is the next day, and the final day until they have to return to Night Raven. It's been an eventful trip, and he's shopped, packed, sent off his luggage ahead- Lilia and Kalim have also been doing some last minute shopping and exploration, and now that they've all gone off with Kifaji and Jack to enjoy their last night here before travel tomorrow, Vil's accompanying Leona in his car.

It's not the one they took a joyride in, but just as spacious and comfortable- a luxury four wheel drive. His leg's feeling a lot better today at least, and he expects he'll be walking proper by tomorrow.

At least now, they can reminisce a bit. ]

What's out here?

[ He asks. Leona drove them out somewhere, but he's not sure where they're going among these open plains. Is he taking him somewhere special? ]

Not planning on abandoning me somewhere now, are you?
