You took your own time! I was waiting to surprise you! The children have been asleep for bells and I was all alone here.

[he will rest his chin on her thigh and look up at her]

I am truly sorry, my love. I'd forgotten... not that you were here, but that there would be anyone waiting for me tonight. Ah, that does not make sense...

[ She will move her hands into his hair. ]

Working too hard again. 'twas all the restraint I could employ to not march in and carry you off, you know. I wager you've not eaten yet either, and Estinien's going to show up later, too.

[ She strokes his hair back. ]

And on Starlight Eve, too. What could you possibly have to do tonight? Besides me, of course.

[peacetalks]

[he lowers his eyes and exhales deeply at her ministrations, the tips of his ears flushing pink]

I've not eaten since midday lunch, nay. I meant to come home much earlier, but--well, I'll not make excuses. 'Tis my lack of forethought, and I hope you will allow me to make it up to you.

[menphina]

[ Soft, cute ear... moving her fingers over his ear tip. ]

Oh, I expect you to, my darling. But first you're going to go freshen up, enjoy a proper meal, and meet me in your bedchambers. I'll go get things ready!

[peacetalks]

Will you dine with me? Or have I missed that hour, as well?

I always have a second stomach for food- but mine first needs to be filled as well, actually.

[ As if on cue, tummy rumbling! She didn't eat while she waited. ]

[he lifts his head with a sheepish expression, and rises to his feet, holding a hand out to her]

Allow me to make supper for us, then.

[menphina]

You need only heat it up, my darling.

[ Taking his hand!! She is just dressed in a comfortable bodice and tunic outfit with long sleeves, and looks adorable of course- and they can have their nomnoms, but before they leave the room, she'll stop Aymeric! ]

Can't leave yet, though. There's something important we must do. And it doesn't involve swapping shoes.

[ She'll gesture to the mistletoe hanging above them in the doorway! ]

[peacetalks]

Hm?

[he follows her, and then stops... and slowly glances up]

Oh.

[chuckles]

A stickler for tradition, are we?

And we're not in Thavnair, so we have to do it the way the storybooks say.

[ She's going to make a kissy face and close her eyes, lifting her head for the kiss. ]

Pucker up!

[peacetalks]

We have to, do we. And here I was, all ready to swap shoes.

[still, he will lean down and press his lips to hers in a soft kiss, one hand on her cheek]

[ Eeee. Her ears lift and wiggle when he kisses back, getting up on tiptoe and wrapping her arms around his neck. It's a soft, sweet kiss, and she pulls back to nuzzle his nose. ]

I'm only slightly grumpy now, so let's eat and we can make that upset dissipate too!

[peacetalks]

[he nuzzles back, smiling into her lips before withdrawing]

As you wish.

[time to cook! or more accurately, time to reheat dinner, because even though aymeric has been giving his servants time off for the holidays, they still stopped by to make dinner for him and the guests]

[menphina]

[ Dinner's going to be delicious, and hearty too! Once they've heated and had their fill (and dessert!)- and cleaned up, she's going to drag Aymeric to his chambers, where some presents are waiting for him. ]


And now, since 'tis so close to midnight, you may be permitted to open one present tonight. Best done in here, as 'twould be terribly inappropriate in front of the children.

[ Her ears wiggle. There's actually nothing inappropriate- outright, anyway. Whenever he decides to open it, It's just a book of certain adventures with characters he'll find familiar to read about- and some stories are raunchy in there. She worked hard on this!

The other present is just a lovely pair of fur-laced underclothing as lingerie but shh. ]

[peacetalks]

[he raises an eyebrow at her]

Are there any gifts that I can comfortably open in front of the children?

[he knows what she's like. he continues to grin as he opens the present]

Oh, Meihmi... you've put quite a lot of effort into this, I see.

[he is not disapproving, by any means]

There are. They're already under the Starlight tree.

[ It's a journal set and pocket watch for him with their pictures in it! But he can open that later, right now she takes his arm and snuggles him. ]

They're all stories you'll find familiar. I thought long for them all... and I'll want you to share your own some day as well.

[ She smiles up at him. ]

No time better than Starlight to think of those we love, aye?

[he pulls her into his arms, settling into bed with her, being careful of the book]

As you say, my love. Thank you for the gift, I am... looking forward to reading it.

[ Cozy... she'll just settle in and plant her face against his chest. Mm, warm... ]

Hmm, hmm... there's still a gift you've yet to unwrap, though.


[ For once... instead of jumping to unwrap him, because he's always her present, she'll pull back and let him see the little blue ribbon tie on her bodice! ]

[he glances down and then chuckles]

I might have known. Oh, my dearest...

[he presses a kiss to her shoulder]

You are truly too generous.

[he toys with the ribbon before gently tugging on it]

[ She beams brightly, blushing when he kisses her but leaning in encouragingly for him to continue unlacing her top- though, she's wearing a cute fur-lined lingerie in blue under it! And as it comes into view, he'll see it in full view as her tail wags happily. ]

I'm going to be your Saint of Nymeia's little helper tonight. And I'm full of help to give you, my darling.

[peacetalks]

[aymeric may have become more accustomed to megumi's boldness--not to mention become a tad more libidinous himself--but he still gets flustered when he sees what she's wearing, and even in the dim light she can see his blush]

Surely the Saint's helper would not refuse some "help" in return...

[the tips of his fingers trail along the underside of her bra]

[ The touch makes her tail sway across the bed, now that her upper layer of clothing is off and pushed aside, and she leans into his touch, allowing him to tease along her breast through the fabric and drawing a hand over his thigh. ]

Us helpers do need a little... pick-me-up, from time to time! 'tis to better please you, after all.

[ Wait, she was supposed to be in contro- actually, she's supposed to be part of the present! She can behave!! For now!! ]

Would the Lord Commander enjoy some help on his lap?

[peacetalks]

I daresay he would. And I do hope I am permitted to touch...?

[he says, almost teasingly, as his thumb brushes over her nipple through the fabric]

Aye.

[ She smiles and draws a hand to cover his, allowing his fingers to push under the fabric from below, so he can do as he likes as she settles onto his lap. ]
