[ He's flustered alright- and that remark has him going even redder. He quickly reaches out to grab Leona by the front of his uniform and tug him down onto the bed and to his side, before pinning an arm down by the side of his head. ]

My diet is impeccable, so of course I would be.


[ He sighs and pulls his tiara off, letting it float to Leona's side table before leaning in and flicking his tongue across his mouth. ]

[It is an honest question, though one born of insecurity. Leona doesn’t recall either one of them wanting to give each other the time of day.

Really, their encounters have been growing more intense lately.

He waits for Vil to answer now, he needs to know.]

[ He watches him at that question, his gaze growing more unreadable. Why is he letting Leona get away with so much? He should have been stopping him, or fighting him more.

He went so far as to fuck him in his room, too.

He can feel his anxiety rise again, and his heart is racing heavily- he finally meets his gaze after a bit. ]


I don't know yet. And I want to know why, as well.

[If Vil is saying these things, then shouldn’t he understand why Leona is scenting him? Why Leona is marking him. It’s beyond him why Vil let him do all that.

“It feels right” is a very fair thing to say, though. He knows he feels similar.

He doesn’t laugh, but his lips turn up in an amused smile. ]

[ He reaches under Vil’s chin. Turning his head back.]

[ Unfortunately, Vil is pretty unfamiliar with what beastmen are usually like where it comes to relationships... all of this is new territory for him, and even now he's not sure what Leona's angle is.


But when he holds and looks at him like that and says... well. His expression becomes a bit surprised, before he lifts his hand to Leona's on his chin and holding the back of it. ]

... I'm supposed to be looked at. I'm a celebrity, remember? And I doubt anyone is looking at me the way... The way you are.


[ He doesn't get it, but he isn't complaining either. ]

[ Another confirmation. He needs to know now whether Vil is just messing with him or if he truly wants to be more than this.

[ It wouldn't be great, no. He sighs and shakes his head, finally sinking down and resting his head on top of Leona's chest. ]

The second prince of Sunset Savanna and the celebrity Vil Schoenheit... if word got out, we wouldn't have a moment's peace. Fortunately I've strictly enforced that no one interfere with my education and I will take legal action should anyone encroach on it...

But it's not something I'd hide, should it become more. My personal life is my business. I'm more concerned that you'll face the brunt of it as a royal.

[ It is rather bold of him, all things considered. He lifts his head to watch him, then. ]

S’not like Falena can do anything even if he found out. My life is mine and his is his. He has bigger things to worry about after all.

[ He shrugs. His brother is King and has better things to worry about than what the second prince is doing with his personal and dating life.

His expression is neutral, but like one could tell that he is thinking.

Leona hasn’t too much to worry about. Not in his own eyes. He just absentmindedly plays with the others hair.]

[ He leans into his touch, arm over his chest as he watches him. It would be easy to throw caution to the wind, but Vil isn't so careless. And he knows neither is Leona.

He does however, confirm one thing. ]

If you're as willing, then yes. I thought it was obvious from the fact that I haven't rejected you. But...

[ He lifts himself up and brings a finger to tap on Leona's mouth once. ]

As I said, I don't know what it is I'm feeling. Whether it's the enjoyment of us being physically compatible, or more.


[ He's very realistic. ]

... but I'm open to finding out, if you are.


[ That's as good as a confirmation that he likes him enough to let whatever this is continue. ]

[Leona doesn’t have the same thought loop as Vil, which is fine. It’s better when at least one of them can do the hard thinking.

Leona knows that he feels good when he’s with the other, and he knows how it makes him feel when the other is with him in this capacity.

It’s nice.

But Leona doesn’t very often allow himself such nice things. ]

It’s fine. To find out.

[Ultimately…he leaves it in Vil’s capable hands to decide whether they go public with it or not.

He can think of a few jaws that would drop instantaneously.]

[ This isn't quite the romantic situation as he may have hoped for, all things considered. Vil isn't someone who throws himself into relationships just because he has to be in one. He likes to know and learn someone before even considering it. Being physically intimate like this is a far off thought.

It's for after when his heart acknowledges that there is something there.

They definitely aren't there yet and despite that, Vil wants to know. If they're doing something right, or if this is just the chemistry of their bodies.

(He doesn't want it to be just that and that's why he wants to see what it is. Because he doesn't know... )


He looks up, trying to gauge the look in his eyes before finally leaning in close, lifting Leona's chin and letting their mouths meet. It's a more tender kiss than they've had, even if it is kind of coming right after Leona's had his mouth on Vil's dick, but perhaps that's telling, too.


He lingers there, before pulling back slightly. ]


Then we'll find out. We'll be as we are, and make no fanfare. If people want to read between the lines, they can, but we don't deny it outright or give them any confirmation if they haven't figured it out on their own. If anyone harasses us for more for their social media, we handle them accordingly.

And we'll make time for each other too, so we can know. What this is. And learn each other.


[ Basically, go public but don't be obnoxious about it. ]


Of course, if you feel moments of jealousy, do make it known. We can't very well make this attempt without being honest about what we feel.

[ Unfortunately for Vil, Leona has no context or idea on how to be "romantic" to him, romance is whatever Falena and his wife have. Something sweet and kind. Leona isn;t so sure he can be as sweet and kind as his brother.

Vil is interesting, he doesn't act like prey. He doesn't bend to whatever Leona wants. He keeps things interesting. They are both forces to be reckoned with. Leona can appreciate that in a man.

He follows the kiss easily, less biting this time for sure. He returns it just as sweetly as Vil gives it. He has the capability. He does. He listens to the things that Vil puts forth as well. It all sounds agreeable. ]

We try, then.

[ He tugs, very respectfully and without disrupting too much of the fabric...the back of Vil's top again. ]

You should know those of Savannaclaw will already know that I have placed a mark on you. It means my scent is on ya, and if they dared to try, well. Wouldn't end too well for them. Ruggie won't dare to say anything, at least t' my face. Your passage here is almost guaranteed.

[ He lets his fingers brush across Leona's cheek, though his gaze grows amused. ]

... Do you really think you'd have been able to mark me without me allowing it? Don't be silly. Those spudlings wouldn't dream of coming near me, lest they want a bite out of a poisoned blossom.

[ His smile is serene, but the threat is very real. He holds Leona's face by the chin, watching him. ]

I'm also not concerned with any relief you'll want with anyone else. Malleus, Ruggie... but when I'm with you, I expect your full attention.

[ He's aware that lions are polyamorous, so he'll set that out there. ]

[ He should have known that he was allowed. He had a feeling at any rate. His head is absentmindedly tilting into those touches. Happy to allow such fondness between them. they may argue often, but Vil has never NOT been an interesting person to bicker with. ]

[ He makes no comment on Malleus or Ruggie. If he wants something from them he would take it. But... he's been finding himself in Vil's space more often lately. ]

[ He knows Epel's having his fun admiring all the strong Savanaclaw jocks he plays Spelldrive with. But, he is right that he should start heading back. ]

[ Sliding back- slowly enough for a press against Leona's groin as he does. ]

[ He assumes that, possibly, being a minute late could get him punished. Not that he cares or knows how that threat would come to fruition. But Leona shows up, exactly one minute late to that practice that Vil so kindly asked him to come to.

1) It is entirely incredible that he even showed up.
2) He actually dressed the part, too.

He stands in Pomefiore's ballroom, tail swishing back and forth. Ears lifted in such a manner that he KNOWS he is asking for it. ]

[ It's been a few months since they began their "arrangement", and so far it has been quite... decent. They've been as they were, yes, but they've also been seeing each other outside of being housewardens. Even if a lot of their meetings have been framed as such.

(The physical intimacy has been quite intense, too.)

While people have definitely picked up that whatever is happening between them is more than just acquaintanceship, no one's been quite able to detect what is going on. There seem to be sightings of them sitting just close enough to suggest, fingers touched, hands held, and yet...

It's been fine. Vil hasn't denied it to Rook, who already knew.

But lately, whether it's some turn of the season causing it or some other frustration, they'd ended up bickering more than usual. Vil getting angry at Leona's lackadaisical attitude for things he finds important- Leona getting frustrated with Vil. All of it culminating in what ended up with them like this.

It was a pretty bad fight, one neither of them likely even remember how it began. Rather, it resulted in feeling offended at all his hard work being spit on, and Leona feeling as though he just isn't good enough and lashing out at Vil being judgmental.

(All either of them really wanted was to feel like they actually mattered and weren't being taken for granted.)

Vil had tried, at least, as much as he could have without growing too vulnerable- he was indeed, caring for Leona in ways he usually did not give others. He missed him when they were apart, and even if he was harsh, there was usually concern behind his actions.

But they probably went too far and hurt each other this time... so it's been some days since they've seen each other. He's hardly been able to focus, even if he seems like he's in control as usual. Rook's noticed, but he doesn't want to talk about it.

Does this mean they're breaking up? Leona hasn't even tried to contact him, and he found himself lingering outside Savanaclaw's mirror, then hesitating.

He's also casually dropped by on Spelldrive practice, with the excuse of checking on Epel (he usually does not)... but that jerk. Why is he even doing this?

Ugh. He feels foolish. And he ends up on the garden near Main Street, since most students have returned to their dorms by now. The sunset is nice from here, and he has homework to read, so he'll... just do it here.

The fact that Leona usually naps here has nothing to do with it. Hmph. ]

[ He's watching the time and glaring at him as he saunters in. And he's dressed in his practice outfit too. Amazing. Splendid.


He's going to kill him. ]

[ They're practicing alone, it's fine. ]

Maybe I did. I heard there was a punishment attached?

[ He strides over, placing a hand on Vil's waist. ]

Y'said you wanted to practice, right? I'm here.

[ So they need to practice. ]

[ The argument lost sight of itself once they started to get petty. Both of them not knowing the limits of their bites. The arguments started off small, and now? They've gone so far that the both of them parted their ways right then and there.

Leona certainly wasn't sure whether this meant that they were split up for good, or...just needed their space.

Leona decides not to bother him, then. Maybe they really only were a fling. Maybe they just aren't able to do the whole dating thing. Leona figures that perhaps he wasn't enough to keep Vil interested in him.

He doesn't attend classes again, something he was almost getting better at. He's back to showing up whenever he wants, having Ruggie hand in his work, and sleeping out in the Gardens again. Any time he's seen Vil it was awkward eye contact and one of them retreating. ]

... ?

[ So why in the Seven does he hear Vil's footsteps in the garden today? He's probably imagining it.

So he stays turned. ]

[ This hopeless lion. He shakes his head and moves a hand to his shoulder, while the other moves to his hand. ]
