But before he can stop himself, he takes Leona's face by the chin and tugs it in to kiss his mouth- it's not a challenging kiss or one done with any intention but reassurance. ]

[ He doesn't really think of it and he is telling him not to risk a meeting that could cause them both trouble.
But no sooner has he done that that he grabs his flower basket and heads off into another corner of the gardens, letting the thicker fragrances mask his own.
It's only then that he realizes he kissed Leona without hesitating...
